Everywhere we go we try to connect with other worldschool families who are on the road so that the kids get a chance to play with peers and we get some other like-minded adults to talk to!
Here in Ho Chi Minh we met up with a British family with two similar aged boys at a play centre. The boys had so much fun clambering and playing together and I had a nice chat with their mum over yet another amazing Vietnamese coffee. It’s always fun to hear how other families balance working, schooling and life on the road and it’s great to swap ideas and learn about the areas they have visited and recommend.

At the play centre there was also a climbing wall and the boys had great fun giving it a go and competing with their new friends. Simmi also enjoyed playing with all the toys, with us on the road she hasn’t had much exposure to traditional toys and she is now at the age where she is really ready to play properly and enjoys it.
