During the week, our dinners typically consist of homemade meals or occasional takeout. However, Fridays are reserved for special dining experiences. While our weekday choices often cater to the children’s preferences, Friday dinners are where we, as adults, make the selection. The kids are welcome to choose something from the menu, but if they don’t find anything appealing, the alternative is having instant noodles at home after we return.
This Friday, I was already working on the other side of the river in the proper Danang non-touristy section of town. Lisa and the kids took a Grab taxi to come this side and we had a good Vietnamese dinner at An Thoi Restaurant, which had very good reviews on TripAdvisor –
For all the food you see in this post, the bill came out to about 500,000 Vietnamese Dong which is about $20 USD.
