Since coming to Danang we have spent quite a bit of time hanging out on the beach. The beach here has been voted one of the best in the world, coming from Mauritius we have pretty high standards, but Danang beach is quite different to what we are used to, and beautiful in a different way. It’s a huge beach! The bay here is wide and sandy and unlike Mauritius there is no reef which means the sand is soft and fine with no bits of broken coral and the waves are much bigger. The boys love it because the waves are fun to play in and the sand is perfect for digging and building!

The boys have spent hours digging a big hole, filling it with water and defending it from the sea ,- even Simmi got in on the action!
