The train from Ellya to Kandy by Indra

We woke up super early To take the train to Kandy. It took seven hours to get there. So we got our breakfast which was roti with spicy soup and pancakes with sweet coconut and a cup of tea.

Dad and simmi on the platform

When we were ready we took a car to the train station. At the train station we waited for our train while we were waiting dad went to get some snack’s. When he came back it was time to get on to the platform. Seven minutes later the train arrived.

We were in second class carriage number two. I had two chairs to myself because nobody had booked the seat next to me. The train started to move. It got faster and faster. After three stops I was hungry so I asked dad if I could have the cheese roti that he had bought.

When I had finished I asked mum if I could hang out of the door like all the other people. She said yes. After I had finished I came back to my seat and looked out the window there were still four hours left. Mum and krishav had walked to carriage number six which was the cafe. At the cafe they got some tea for me.

Three hours later we were driving through the tea fields. It was very interesting driving through the tea fields because we could see off the edge of the cliff. We finally reached the station. We got off the train and started to walk to our apartment we walked through the market and then got on to the main road. We walked a down the main road for about thirty seconds then we arrived the name of our apartment was Dumbara Peak Residence. We went to the second floor and checked in our rooms were on the third floor. We had two rooms one on the right side and one on the left side.

The end.
