As we drove through the lush landscapes of Ubud, Bali towards the BanyuMala Waterfalls, an unexpected stop transformed our day into an unforgettable adventure. We stumbled upon a breathtaking viewpoint and asked the driver to stop for a picture. We did not notice the troop of friendly monkeys, eagerly awaiting their next human encounter, until we got out of the car and they surrounded us.

A local lady was selling bananas and peanuts if we wanted to feed them. Indra and Krishav, eyes wide with wonder and a little bit of fear as well, eagerly took part in the feeding frenzy. Monkeys gently took offerings from their hands and pulled their hands to beg for some more food.

Unfortunately, Simmi missed it all as she was sleeping in the car.
